Kasara - Ghatghar - Alang

The trek starts at Ghatghar dam which will help us to save one and a half hour of travelling. For this, on Thursday night we will travel by train to Kasara station and proceed by private jeep towards Ghatghar dam. After having breakfast in the morning, we will take a walk in the direction of Alang Fort. It will take about an hour and a half to reach the entrance. This is where your trek begins. As the trek begins on entrance's right, the path passes through dense forest. The water ahead approaches you, as it reaches the plateau, climbs up the Alang Fort. Going forward, you see an iron ladder, it climbs up and you stand in the castle door. The British have closed the door with stones, so you can reach the fort by climbing to the right. You arrive at this fort about three and a half to four.

Alang - Madan - Kulang

Get up early and have breakfast in the morning. After watching the sunrise, we will start descending the steep steps towards Madan. Since these steps are very small in size, one can draw ropes and descend into the lower cave. The cave can easily accommodate seven to eight people at a time. But there is no way to get ahead of the cave. At this point, you will need to go down about 45 feet with the ropes again. Here you have to walk down the valley of Alang and Madan. With the shadows here, you move faster. There are gravel steps to climb Fort Madan. You climb the fort in away. These steps come close to a cliff and end. Keeping all the stuff here, you have to climb this 25-foot height edge. After going to the castle, descending this ledge and descending the stone steps. And head towards the castle Kulang. Four hours from here, we come to the stone steps of Kulang. From here it is easy to reach the fort within an hour.
